Don't believe QUICKBOOKS support when they tell you that you have to upgrade to the newest version of QUICKBOOKS for MAC. QUICKBOOKS 2011 will work fine.
In the spirit of "just fix it" here's how:
- -close out of QUICKBOOKS 2011
- -click here: https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572
- -click DOWNLOAD
- (direct link http://support.apple.com/downloads/DL1572/en_US/javaforosx.dmg)
- -run the installation
- -open QUICKBOOKS 2011
- -e-high-five!
